The Trojan Women - Poster

Basic Description:
This was created for a commissioned poster design for the play "The Trojan Women" by Euridipes. (You can find the collage without the typography in my gallery as well - tehlookingglass.deviantart.com…)
As the play revolves around the abuse and the tragedy of the women of Troy after losing the war, I wanted to symbolize the chaos and pain during that time, as well as the anonymity of the victims, as we rarely hear about what happened to them and as similar situations still happen to this day. 
(The profit made by the play was donated to Medica Mondiale, an organisation providing medical care for women and girls in war and conflict areas.)
